The veteran actress emphasised how opportunities for women diminish with age, while men continue to get lead roles. In an exclusive chat with Bollywood Bubble, Neena said, “It is very challenging to be a woman and live in this world. There are a lot of difficulties that one faces as a woman. Either you are a housewife, while you are poor, either you are a doctor or you are an actor. It is difficult for women these days.”

Furthermore, she defined her journey and stated that she achieved everything late in her life. Neena expressed, “I got everything late and that’s the reality. I got my break at the age of 60, which I feel is very late.”
